Developed from a radical idea: Madeleine Boschan isolates the negative space of one of her existing portals, detaches it from its architectural context, and transforms it into a positive form.

Emptiness becomes matter. Passage becomes presence.

W 4 22 condenses this central conceptual approach into a precise artistic statement. A minimally shifted square in aluminum, industrially fabricated and hand-painted, floats a few centimeters in front of the wall. The reverse color application creates a vibrating shadow space—a subtle expansion unfolding between object and image.
