Begehe mich, durchschreite mich.

I stand here, free in space, without pedestal, without base—directly on the ground, in immediate connection with this place. The space around me is like a flowing weave: the wall tiles repeat like a graphic echo, and the glass façade toward the street opens the view to the outside. Yet I myself am the bridge, the connection between the poles. I am a passage, a strait, a bottleneck.
I invite you to move through me, and with every step time becomes tangible. Walking is movement, rhythm, an act of becoming. I am a portal, a gate—open and yet present. From here, the Mediterranean flows into the North; it permeates the space, carrying even debris with a quiet force, without tears, without curse.
I am painting and sculpture at once. My surfaces are painted—turquoise and pink, traversed by white and black. In their complementary contrasts they whisper of shores and horizons. The colors are for thinking, for seeing, for reflecting on form. My lines fold, my planes bend, and yet I remain a whole. I am a dialogue with space. Wherever you move, I give you a new image.
My elements rest on the ground; they are in flux. I am both form-defining and open. My interior and exterior could be exchanged—a play between stability and transformation.
My form arises from spirit. I am the result of a rhythmic process, of a thinking that generates form. “I strike with my forehead against the marble block / and bring forth the form.” (Gottfried Benn)
Traverse me, pass through me. With every step, time becomes palpable, eternity present in the moment. Wherever you stand, I change—and with me, space. Together we form images, fleeting and eternal at once.
